Can we feel gravity without weight?
That's the question posed by Discrete Collisions, one of the ten installations that make up XYZT: Abstract Landscapes by artists Adrien M & Claire B.
Guests are invited to this play area to juggle with the alphabet. Through the effects of gravity, bouncing and friction, the immaterial letters in motion create a real sensory experience. As they fall and collide, they give birth to the illusion of materiality, directly referring to the habit of moving, which is deeply engraved in our experience. Several people can manipulate it simultaneously.
Check out Discrete Collisions along with nine other interactive installations on display daily at ARTECHOUSE Miami until September 2, 2019.
